A significant step has been taken against the illegal dumping of waste into the Nadoli Gouri stream in Palthadi Village, Savanur. A vigilant social worker captured the act on video, shedding light on the environmental transgression.
The incident came to public attention when a concerned social worker recorded a video of an individual dumping waste materials into the Nadoli Gouri stream. The video promptly made its way to social media platforms, drawing widespread condemnation and raising awareness about the importance of preserving local ecosystems.
Taking prompt action, the incident was reported to the Bellare police station, prompting an investigation into the identity of the individual and the vehicle involved in the unlawful act. The police department swiftly responded to the report and took up the task of tracking down the responsible party.
After meticulous investigation, the police department managed to identify the individual behind the waste dumping incident.
The identified individual was contacted and requested to appear in Palthadi Village for an official inquiry into the matter. Following this inquiry, a fine of Rs 3000 was levied on the offender for the blatant act of waste dumping.
