School boy dies in a road accident

Bengaluru: A 12 year old schoolboy died as the autorickshaw he was travelling in toppled in Chikkaballapur on Saturday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Chandan, a seventh standard student. He sustained severe head injuries and died on the spot.

It has been reported that, the driver was trying to avoid cannoning into a stray dog and lost control of the vehicle.

The other children who sustained injuries were admitted for treatment to a hospital here.
