School staff charged against the murder of 14-yr-old

Kushalnagar: Vice Principal along with five staff have been charged with murder of a 14 year student here. 

NP Chingappa was found dead inside the washroom of the school on Saturday evening.

Chingappa’s parents had filed a case against the school authority. The boy’s father, Naganda T Pooviah, hockey coach at the same school had told the police that his son was constantly harassed by these faculty members and that they were responsible for his death.

“We have booked the case on the basis of the complaint received. Murder charges have been invoked. As of now, we are investigating further and also waiting for the post mortem report,” said P Rajendra Prasad, Superintendent of police, Kodagu.
