Schools served with notices over violation of COVID-19 guidelines

Kaup: Department of public instruction has served notice to Headmasters of Government model higher primary school at Palimaru and Mudarangady high school for allowing violation of COVID guidelines.
Naveen Bhat Y, Chief Executive officer of Udupi Zilla Panchayat had visited PU colleges at Mudarangady and Palimaru on March 3 to evaluate the issues of drinking water and toilets. H even visited classes during the visit. As he observed violations, reports say that notices seeking an explanation were issued by the evening on March 3.
Reports revealed that the officials had visited Mudarangady PU College and not the high school section, yet the senior teacher of the school, Pushpavathi is worried over the notice. The headmistress of Palimaru government primary school clarified that the officials had not visited her school, yet she was served with the notice.
