Ship-boat collision: Search operation still on for missing fishermen

Mangaluru: Search operation for the nine of fourteen fishermen who had gone missing after the boat collided with a cargo ship on April 13 is still on.
On Wednesday, April 14 the bodies of three fishermen killed in the ship-boat collision, were brought here. Out of three, a post-mortem of two bodies was performed at Wenlock Hospital after which they were sent to Tamil Nadu. The other body was sent to West Bengal via Bengaluru
Coastal Security Police Force, a ship from the naval base at Karwar, and a helicopter searched for the other fishermen. Four boats that specifically came for the purpose from Kerala, along with some fishing boats from Mangaluru too got involved with the search. Still, the missing fishermen have not been traced.
