Seat sharing strategies will be finalized by Jan-end: HDD

Bengaluru: JDS’s seat-sharing strategies for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections will be held during the party’s national executive meeting in Bengaluru on January 29 and 30 said JDS supremo and former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda.
Addressing presspersons ahead of a meeting of party leaders comprising MLAs, MLCs and former legislators on Wednesday, January 9 Devegowda said that the JD(S) had extended support to the Left parties in Kerala, and had partnered with the Congress in Karnataka.
Gowda said they would first concentrate on strengthening the party when asked about his candidature,
Reacting to the recent row over appointments to boards and corporations, he said that senior leaders of both parties will resolve issues soon. He also added that he had instructed his partymen not to make any negative remarks against the Congress because it might directly hurt the coalition government.
