Karnataka 2nd PUC exam-2 results announced; 35.25% students pass

The results for the Second PUC Exam-2 were announced on Tuesday, May 21. The exams were conducted from April 29 to May 16 across 301 examination centers in the state. A total of 1,49,824 students had registered for Exam-2, out of which 1,48,942 students appeared, and 52,505 students passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 35.25%.
The results have been published on the official website, https://karresults.nic.in. The department has stated that the final results will consider the highest marks obtained in each subject from both Exam-1 and Exam-2, which will be available on https://kseab.karnataka.gov.in.
Vidyaashree from Yeshwantpur, Bengaluru, significantly improved her Kannada marks in the second exam, scoring 75 marks compared to 24 marks in the first exam, an increase of 51 marks.
In the Physics section, the highest number of students appeared, with 23,689 taking the exam, and 14,065 securing higher marks. In the Chemistry section, 20,226 students appeared, with 7,127 students achieving higher marks.
Applications for scanned copies of answer sheets can be submitted from May 21 to 23. Only those who obtain scanned copies are eligible to apply for revaluation and re-totaling, with applications being accepted from May 22 to 25.
