Sedition case booked against against Shashi Tharoor, Rajdeep Sardesai in B’luru

Bengaluru: TV anchor Rajdeep Sardesai, Kerala MP Shashi Tharoor,  and other journalists have been booked for sedition at the Parappana Agrahara police station

It is said that the sedition was registered based on a complaint filed by a private employee for their tweets on the death of a farmer during the tractor rally in Delhi on Tuesday.

The complainant, Rakesh BS alleged that tweets by the accused incited hatred among the public and endangered national integrity.

The other accused in the case are Mrinal Pande, Zafar Agha, Paresh Nath, Anant Nath and Vinod K Jose
