Rape accused and Self-styled godman Nithyananda, unveiled the currency of Kailasa, the country he claims to have founded on a small island off the coast of Ecuador, on Saturday, Aug 22

He announced the release  of ‘Reserve Bank of Kailasa,’ and his own currency called the ‘Kailashian Dollar.’

Nithyananda says around 77 types of coins, all made out of gold, have been released. He released eight denominations of the ‘Kailashian Dollar.’

He said that he aims to follow up on his ‘Reserve Bank of Kailaasa’ with a Hindu parliament in the next six months

According to sources, The Hindu parliament will constitute five entities, Chit sabha, Raja sabha, Deva sabha, Kanaga sabha and Nithyananda sabha. All these five entities will be in accordance with what ‘Paramashiva’ had said in the vedas and ‘agamas’.

He also claims that he has drafted a 300-page economic policy, which laid down his alleged nation’s economic strategy.

Although it is said that  ‘Kailasa’ is situated on a small island that Nithyananda purchased off the coast of Ecuador, Ecuador has rejected it saying none of its islands has been bought by the fugitive

Kailasa website claims, To avail citizenship of Kailasa, one has to be a “practising Hindu” or a “Hindu who would like to deepen their practice”.

The country has its own triangular flag with an emblem of Paramashiva and Nandi and is called the ‘Rishabha Dhvaja’. English, Sanskrit and Tamil are its main languages.

Nithyananda has been absconding since 2018 and is an accused in multiple cases in India including rape. In 2019, he was booked after a couple from Tamil Nadu accused him of abducting their children and keeping them at his ashram in Ahmedabad. The rape accused spiritual guru was suspected to have fled India in October 2019.
