Kundapur: A senior citizen died after he fell from a bus near Sharke Bobbaraya Daivastana in Vandse village on Kundapur-Kollur State Highway. The deceased elderly man has been identified as Narayana Bhat (60).
Apparently, Mr Bhat lost his balance while the bus driver was taking a turn near the Daivastana. He fell off from the rear door of the bus. An injured Bhat was rushed to Vandse Primary Health Centre where he failed to respond to the given treatment and succumbed to his injuries.
The police have registered a case on a complaint by Ranjit Shetty, a two-wheeler rider who witnessed the incident.
