Senior Kannada Actress, Producer BV Radha Dies in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Senior Kannada actress, producer BV Radha died following heart attack on Sunday early morning. Family members of 70 year old senior actress brought her to a private hospital after BV Radha fell ill at around 04.00 AM. However, the she failed to respond to the medical treatment and died in the hospital.

The deceased is survived by her daughter Dhanalakshmi and other close relatives. She served as an actress for more than 250 films of South Indian languages including Kannada, Tulu, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. She began her career with a small role in a Kannada movie, Navakoti Narayana in 1964.  Senior actress was married to well-known Kannada movie director, late KSL Swamy.
