Separate COVID-19 testing center to be opened for police personnel: BSY

Bengaluru: Expressing condolence over the death of a covid-19 positive KSRP constable, Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa lauded the efforts of the police personnel who are in the forefront in the battle against Coronavirus.

KSRP constable Manjesh committed suicide after that he was infected with Coronavirus.

Taking to Twitter, the chief minister said, “My prayers are with the family may god give them strength to bear the loss and also pray that the departed soul rest in peace”

Further he mentioned that a separate COVID-19 testing center is being opened for officers and staff of the Police Department.

According to source around 74 police personnel have tested positive in the city and are undergoing treatment, while three have died so far.
