Bengaluru: The fourth round of national sero-survey to detect the prevalence of antibodies against the SARS-CoV-2 virus will also include residents in the Bengaluru Urban, Chitradurga and Kalaburagi districts.
The sero-survey, nationally supervised by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), will be done in Karnataka by the National Tuberculosis Institute, Bengaluru.
A sero-survey is where blood is tested to detect Immunoglobulin G (IgG): the antibodies that determine a history of viral infection.
