Serve differently abled children without anything in return: Ananth Kumar Hegde

Mangaluru: Addressing the gathering at Silver Jubilee Celebrations of Chetana, a Child Development Centre unit of Seva Bharathi, Mangaluru here at Town Hall, Union Minister Ananth Kumar Hegde said “Giving support of the differently abled children to make them confident is an exceptional service towards the society”.
Ananth Kumar also said, ” In different other social services, we get result for our service however here we don’t. Serving the differently abled children must be a selfless service towards the soceity.”
He additionally guaranteed that the union government was constantly ready to encourage and help differently abled children to make them self reliant and confident. “We individuals ought to be the light for special kids and take them forward. And furthermore we ought to be appreciative to those, who serve these children with no expectation”, Ananth Kumar Hegde included.
Swami Jithakananadaji, President of Ramakrishna Matt blessed the occasion.MP Nalin Kumar presided over the programme. Giridhar Kamath of Ganesh and Sudhir, Chartered Accountant (handling accounts for past 25 years without taking a fee), P Vasudev Rao (a donor for Chetana and also encouraging others to donate to Chetana School), Nagar Narayanan Shenoy (donor of the land) and Konchady Gopal Shenoy (ex military) were felicitated at the ceremony for their selfless service.
Dr. Sathish Kumar Bhandary, Vice Chancellor of NITTE Deemed University, Mukund Kamath of Ideal Ice-Cream, Trustee Sumitha Shenoy, Principal of Chetana Supritha and others were present at the programme.
