Seven killed in horrible road accident in Dharwad

Dharwad: A horrible accident claimed the life of seven occupants of a Cruiser at Baad Village in Dharwad Taluk.

The out-of-control cruiser smashed into a roadside tree, killing seven occupants of the car on the spot. Six others were critically injured in the incident. The deceased have been identified as Ananya (14), Harish (13), Shilpa (34), Neelavva (60), Madhushree (20), Maheshwaraiah (11), and Shambhu Lingayya (35).

They were reportedly returning after attending a pre-wedding function.

The injured have been rushed to the Dharwad District Hospital and Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences Hospital (KIMS) Hubballi.

The accident occurred in the Dharwad Rural police Station limits. Further investigations are underway.
