Several friends of DySP Lakshmi questioned

Bengaluru: Intensifying their investigation into the death of State’s Criminal Investigation Department’s DySP V Lakshmi, the police on December 18 questioned several of her friends.

Laxmi, 33, was found hanging at her acquaintance’s house on Thursday, December 17.

The police have already taken into custody and questioned four of Lakshmi’s friends Rahul, Prajwal, Ranjit and BBMP COVID Care Centre contractor Manohar.

2014 KSPS batch officer is a native resident of Kolar and lived with her parents and husband Naveen in Konanakunte near Bengaluru.

She had been on long leave after her leg surgery and had resumed her duties a few days ago.
