Sexual harassment accused youth commits suicide, family protests outside girl’s house with his corpse

Udupi: A youth, deeply agonised over the allegation of sexual harassment levelled against him by a young woman, reportedly committed suicide. The deceased has been identified as Santosh Kunder (29).

Kunder’s family hailing from Kodikanyana staged a protest by placing Santosh’s body in front of the residence of the girl. His family states that false allegations were made against him eventually forcing him to take the extreme step.

After the girl had filed a complaint against him at Kota Police Station, Kunder had gone missing since  May 2nd. He was found dead at Kadoor Birur on Saturday, June 2nd.
