Shilpa Ganesh files complaint over ‘fake post’ on FB

Bengaluru: Sandalwood actor Ganesh’s wife, Shilpa, has filed a complaint with the RR Nagar police against a controversial social media post defaming Nadaprabhu Kempegowda which some individual had posted in her name.
The post had a Kannada subtitle which read: “There are many others who have achieved more than Kempegowda, so there is no need of naming Silk University after him .” accordingly, a few people began posting bad remarks against her.
Shilpa became more acquainted with about the post on July 6 when she got a WhatsApp forward from a man recognized as Giri Gowda. She issued an open elucidation on Twitter and Facebook expressing that a few people had made the post with mischievous intent and had used her photo. She emphasized that she has great respect to Kempegowda.
In her complaint, she told the police that obscure people utilized her photo and made a fake post. She told the police that had not put forth any such expressions and was stunned to see the post. She likewise requested that the police take actions against individuals in charge of this. RR Nagar police have taken the case and investigating further.
