Shimoga: New ASP, DySP take charge as former officers quarantined

Shimoga: The district has a new ASP, four new DySPs and seven new CPIs appointed on duty on the night of Tuesday, May 19.
These temporary appointments were made as most of the serving police officers in the district are undergoing quarantine due to the rising COVID-19 cases in the district.
The total number of cases registered in Shimoga district is 24.
