Shiroor seer used to drink alcohol claims Pejawara swamy

Bengaluru: Pejavara seer Sri Vishvesha Theertha Swamiji claimed that Shiroor Math Sri Laxmivara Theertha was addicted to alcohol that he had worship Lord Krishna after being intoxicated.

Speaking to the reporters, Pejavara seer said that Shiroor swamy did not abide by the rules which are to be followed in monkhood.

When questioned about allegations made by Shiroor seer against the Pejawara seer, he said that the people know about and hence he did not find it necessary to give any justification.

“After the completion of the Chaturmas, I will be going to Kodogu flood victims and donating Rs 20 Lakh on behalf of Pejavar Matt Trust”, he said.
