Shiroor tollgate accident: Ambulance driver booked

Shiroor: The ambulance driver has been booked in the Shiroor tollgate accident case that claimed four lives.
The driver identified as Roshan has been booked under sections 279 (Punishment for rash driving) and 304 (A) (Punishment for causing death by negligence) of IPC.
On July 20, the ambulance crashed into a pole and overturned at the Shiroor toll gate.
The ambulance was ferrying a patient from Honnavar to a hospital in Kundapur. In the viral video, the ambulance driver who was seen speeding lost control of the vehicle when he approached the toll gate and rammed into the pole.
