Shirva: Eucharistic procession marks prelude to Annual Feast at Our Lady of Health Church

Shirva: As a spiritual prelude to the upcoming Annual Feast at Our Lady of Health (Saud Mai) Church in Shirva, a Eucharistic procession took place on Sunday evening, January 28.
The annual feast is scheduled to be held on January 30 and 31.
Rev. Fr Boniface Pinto, the Spiritual Director of Divya Dhama Moodubelle, led the solemn Mass. He highlighted the significance of expressing trust in God, and devoting oneself to Mother Mary and Jesus to alleviate pain and hardships.
The Eucharistic procession commenced after the Holy Mass. Starting from the church, it traversed through Shirva town to the petrol pump and returned to the church. Thereafter a prayer ceremony was held.
Rev Fr Dr. Leslie D’Souza, Parish Priest, along with Assistant Priests Rev Fr Rolvin Aranha and Rev Fr Ronson Pinto, as well as Rev Fr Jason Lobo, priests from Shirva Don Bosco Youth Centre, priests from various churches, religious sisters, joined over a thousand devotees in the procession.
To ensure smooth traffic and proper vehicle parking, Shirva Police implemented tight security measures.
The Eucharistic procession served as a spiritual prelude to the upcoming Annual Feast, fostering a sense of devotion and community among the participants.
