Shivamoga: Libraries set up for COVID-19 patients

Shivamoga: The district Health Department’s employees union has set up a reading library in the COVID-19 wards of the McGann hospital and the Sagara taluk hospital.
Director of the Shivamogga Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS) and the McGann hospital, Dr Sridhar said that the libraries have been set up for COVID-19 patients to relax and to divert them from stressful thoughts and anxiety.
The library has approximately 1,000 books all donated by bookshops, printers and publishers, added Dr Sridhar.
