Shivamogga: 3 youngsters killed, another injured in lorry-car head-on collision

Shivamogga: Three persons were killed and one seriously injured in a ghastly accident that occurred in the early morning of Sunday at Kallapura village on the outskirts of the city.

A car moving from Shivamogga towards Savalanga when it collided head-on with a lorry approaching from the opposite direction at Kallapura Village near Abbalagere

The deceased have been identified as Vivek (21), Karthik (21), and Mohan (21), all occupants of the car. Rudresh, who was seated in the back seat, was seriously injured and has been rushed to McGann Hospital for medical treatment.

Meanwhile, police have detained the lorry driver and are investigating the matter.

The accident took place in Shimoga rural police station limits.
