Shivamogga: A bus carrying passengers plunged into the Sharavathi river after the bus driver lost control on Saturday.
The bus was waiting for a launch to cross the river when the driver lost control and the bus fell into the river water. As the bus rolled into the water, the passengers quickly got off and a major tragedy was averted.
Fortunately, none died in the accident.
The bus was later lifted with the use of an earth mover.
