Shivamogga: Jog Falls closed to public for three months

Shivamogga: Planning a visit to the world-renowned Jog Falls? You might want to read this first. Entry to Jog Falls in Sagara taluk, Shivamogga district, has been restricted for three months due to developmental works.

District authorities have announced that access to Jog Falls will be closed to the public and tourists from January 1 to March 15 to facilitate comprehensive development works, including the construction of the main gate and enhancement of basic amenities for visitors.

The decision to impose restrictions was made to ensure that visitors are not inconvenienced during the construction period. The district administration and the Jog Management Authority have requested public cooperation during this time.
