Shivamogga: Plot to kill youth – Case filed against 13 persons

‎Shivamogga: A case has been registered against 13 persons for allegedly hatching a plan to kill another youth.

The matter came to light during the questioning of a person allegedly involved in a violent attack on a journalist during the riots after the Bajrang Dal activist Harsha in Shivamogga.

The accused, identified as Rakhi, has allegedly revealed that a conspiracy to kill a Muslim youth had been hatched. Based on this a case has been registered, police said.

Rakhi had been detained for being part of a mob that had attacked and injured journalist Mohammed Rafi on February 21 at 11.30 AM. He had been taken in for questioning in the case.

Doddapet police are investigating. the matter further.
