Shri Somnath a symbol of pride in Sanatan culture: Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday emphasized that Lord Somnath stands as a beacon of pride within the indelible Sanatan culture.

Shah offered prayers for prosperity at the jyotirlinga temple in Gujarat, underscoring the enduring significance of Somnath. As a trustee of the Shree Somnath Trust, Shah performed ‘dhwaj puja’ and noted that long-standing rituals continue to inspire perseverance despite struggles.

In a social media post, Shah expressed his wishes for India’s welfare after his visit. Additionally, Shah reviewed actions at Rajkot International Airport related to last week’s TRP Game Zone fire and instructed local officials on measures to control a cholera outbreak in Gandhinagar.
