Hubballi: Transport Minister B Sriramulu said that Opposition leader Siddaramaiah and KPCC president DK Shivakumar are only photo friends.
Speaking to reporters in the city here, he said that the BJP would come to power in Hubballi-Dharwad, Belagavi and Kalaburagi municipal corporations.
“They shake hands and smile only when they go to Delhi and in front of Rahul, Sonia and Priyanka Gandhi. But everywhere else, there is a rivalry between the two of them for the chief minister’s post,” Sriramulu added.
Reacting to DK Shivakumar’s statement that Hubballi is a low-lying city, he said, “He is from Kanakapura. Prahlad Joshi and Jagadish Shettar have brought much development to the region. The Congress is daydreaming. Their leaders keep saying we will win all the elections ourselves. But have not won anywhere.”
“I will work on turning around the loss-making transport department. Appointment of the minister in-charge of a few places should take place in a few days,” Sriramulu said.
