Siddaramaiah cuts cake with Cong. leaders at midnight to begin 75th birthday celebrations

Hubballi: Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah turned 75, on August 3, and celebrated his birthday in the presence of Congress leaders by cutting a cake at a private hotel in Hubli at 12 midnight.

KPCC president D.K. Sivakumar, K.J. George, and R.V. Deshpande were among Congress leaders who participated in the birthday celebrations.

Later in the day, a mega-convention to celebrate the “Amruta Mahotsava” or “Siddaramotsava”  has been planned at Shamanur palace ground. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will also attend this event.  Nearly 10 lakh people from across the state are expected to attend the event.
