The BJP on Tuesday took a jibe at former Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah over his tweet on Hedgewar and Golwalkar

The Congress leader in a series of tweets launched a vicious attack on BJP leaders for misusing institutions like the Income Tax department and Enforcement Directorate to target political opponents.

Siddaramaiah was tweeting to call out the ED questioning of Gandhi family in connection with the money laundering probe linked to the National Herald newspaper.

In one of the tweets, Siddaramaiah stated that Hedgewar and Golwalkar had teamed up with the British to sabotage the 1942 Quit India Movement.

Responding to this tweet the BJP pointed out that Hedgewar had passed away in Nagpur in 1940 and questioned Siddaramaiah’s intellect.

Following this several netizens trolled Siddaramaiah.
