Mysuru: Minister of Co-operation and Mysuru district in-charge minister ST Somashekhar said that former chief minister Siddaramaiah has donated to the construction of the Ayodhya Sri Rama Mandir, but is not publicizing it.
He added that as the government is functioning smoothly, the opposition is not able to find faults and criticize the government. Hence, futile statements are being made by Siddaramaih
The minister was speaking on the occasion of handing over a lift by the Ministry of Railways to carry up the idol of the goddess to the chariot at Chamundeshwari Temple.
“No one is forcibly collecting donations for the construction of the Sri Ram Mandir. Each paise will be used for the Ram Mandir and will be accounted for. Each household that donated for the temple is being recorded along with the PAN number of the donor. A receipt is also being issued. People are voluntary donating for the cause,” he said.
