Shivamogga: Rural Development Minister KS Eshwarappa has said that Siddaramaiah wants to become the chief minister so he wants BS Yediyurappa to resign soon.
Speaking to reporters here he said, “People of Chamundeshwari constituency have rejected Siddaramaiah. Now he is under the delusion that he will become the CM again. There is no question of Yediyurappa resigning.”
“The Central and State governments are doing a good job. We are also visiting houses in villages to canvass for votes in the by-elections. This is bothering the opposition. Hence they are politically weaponising my letter and demanding the chief minister’s resignation,” the minister said.
“We are fixing the administrative differences among us. The opposition parties will not find anything worth attacking in it. Our party’s president Nalin Kumar has expressed confidence that this issue will be resolved in a few days,” he added.
“They can keep a track of the deadlines given by Yatnal. He is a good political fighter and a prominent Hindutva activist. But I don’t know why he is doing this. Party leaders are taking note of his statements,” Eshwarappa said.
