Hubballi: Minister of Social Welfare Department B Sriramulu has said that former chief minister Siddaramaiah and KPCC president DK Shivakumar are not two oxen pulling a cart together but bisons fighting each other for power and the post of the chief minister.

Speaking to reporters on Sunday, he said that as the probe into the CD case is underway he will not speak on it. There are many who are involved in it. Legislators who resigned from the previous coalition government to support the BJP are being systematically humiliated.

“It would be wrong to assume that the six ministers have gone to court then there might a CD on them too. It could be private phone conversations and documents. Congress is attempting to humiliate those who have been in public service for many years. The injunction has been taken from the court on the grounds that they should not fall victim to lies. It is not right to interpret it differently. Congress leaders have nothing else to do after losing power. Hence they are involved in defaming BJP leaders,” the minister added.

“Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa will be presenting State’s 8th budget. Priority will be given to all sectors including education, health and agriculture. I am touring the State to review the department’s works,” Sriramulu said.
