Siddu meets kin of police firing victim in Mangaluru

Mangaluru: Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah arrived in Mangaluru on Monday, December 23 to meet the kin of police firing victims.

Addressing pressperson at the airport Siddaramaiah criticized Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa for ordering a Crime Investigation Department (CID) probe with regard to the Mangaluru police firing.

“Why did Yediyurappa order CID probe in this case? Did he witness the crime?” he question

“By ordering CID probe BSY is doing injustice to the victims family,” he added.

After addressing media Siddramaiah along with Congress leaders visited the victims family and expressed his condolences. He also handed over a cheque of Rs 5 lac on of KPCC and Rs 2.5 lac on behalf of Dakshina Kannada Congress unit.
