Siddu sucessfully distributes portfolio to ministers, MB Patil gets home despite resistance from DCM

Bengaluru: The Congress Party has successfully recommended portfolios for the new ministers of Congress-JD(S) coalition cabinet and despite resistance from Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara the Home portfolio has been reassigned to MB Patil. 

The recommended portfolios for the new minister has taken place exactly a week after eight new ministers were inducted into the cabinet.

Thought Parameshwara was not ready to give away the home portfolio he was holding, former minister  Siddaramaiah, deemed to be close to MB Patil has successfully allocated the home portfolio to M B Patil. However, Parameshwara has been given IT & BT, Law, Justice and Human rights and parliamentary affairs in addition to his existing Bengaluru development portfolio. Similarly, DK Shivakumar has been forced to let go of medical education ministry which has now been reassigned to E Tukaram.

Satish Jarkiholi has now been reassigned to Forest Ecology and environment. CS Shivalli is the minister for municipalities and local bodies from the Urban department. MTB Nagaraj has been allotted Housing which was previously held by UT Khader. PT Parameshwar Naik is Muzrai minister along with additional responsibility of Skill development, entrepreneurship and livelihood department while Youth empowerment and sports which was previously held by Parameshwara has been given to Rahim Khan. 

RB Thimmapur has been reassigned to Port and inland transport which was previously held by  Ramesh Jarkiholi along with Sugar department.
