Belagavi: Gokak MLA Ramesh Jarkiholi revealed that though he is local with BJP, Congress leader Siddaramaiah will always be his mentor.

Speaking at a function here Ramesh said, “Siddaramaiah is my leader till date and will always be. I’m not afraid of admitting this. I will remain loyal to him always.

Calling the former CM a good person Ramesh said, “When I turned into a rebel, Siddaramaiah called me and tried his best to persuade me, while a section of conspirators in the Congress would have suppressed all the rebels politically, and would have held Siddaramaiah responsible for our rebel activities”

“Siddaramaiah and me being indifferent parties is unfortunate,” he added.

“When I met Siddaramaiah in the hospital where he was admitted in Bengaluru recently, we discussed several issues. He became emotional during that time,” Ramesh said.

“I never wanted to topple the Congress-JDS government just wanted to teach a fitting lesson to those who were responsible for bad governance,” he expressed.
