McDonald’s like all fast food is designed with the perfect combination of mouth-watering fat, sugar, salt, and meat protein to force us to eat more.
Weight gain is an obvious side effect. But one of the immediate side effects of eating at McDonald’s is feeling extremely tired and groggy after your meal. The body feels like it has low energy as it tries to digest the overload of fat and sugar.
McDonald’s offers up to 15 beverages and the problem with this is added sugars which affect your health, triggering bloating, constipation, and more.
A big mac contains about 1,010 milligrams of sodium. It is well known that salty foods can raise blood pressure, increasing the risk of bloating by about 27% compared with low sodium diets.
According to studies, people eating fast food are 51% more likely to develop depression than those who aren’t.
