Sira bypoll: Cong candidate TB Jayachandra submits symbolic nomination

Tumkur: Former minister TB Jayachandra on Friday, October 9 filed a symbolic nomination as the Congress candidate for the Shira assembly constituency bye-election.
Shira constituency electoral officer and Madhugiri deputy divisional officer Dr Nandinidevi received the nomination.
Jayachandra will be re-filing nomination with party leaders on October 15.
The bye-elections for Shira and Rajarajeshwari Nagar assembly constituencies will be held on November 3. The counting of votes will take place on November 10.
