Sirsi: II PUC exams cancelled; student commits suicide

Sirsi: A second PUC student reportedly committed suicide after the cancellation of exams due to the pandemic in Yadahalli Taluk.
The deceased has been identified as Dhanya (18), a resident of Sahasrahalli, Yadahalli Taluk. She was student of Marikamba PU College, Sirsi.
It is said that despite colleges being closed due to the pandemic, Dhanya was studying hard for her exams through online classes. But as the exams got cancelled, she hanged herself at home.
A case has been registered in the nearby police station.
