SIT arrests mosque priest in IMA case

Bengaluru: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the I Monetary Advisory (IMA) case on Thursday, July 11 arrested a maulvi on charge of luring people to invest in the ponzi scheme.
The arrested, Haneef Afsar Azeezi who worked as a priest at Masjid-e-Beparian in Shivajinagar is alleged to have influenced several people to invest in IMA in lieu of monetary benefits.
As per reports Azeezi had received a Rs 3 crore residence at HBR Layout in 2017 from Mohammed Mansoor Khan, the now absconding founder of IMA.
