SIT from UP to Reach Bengaluru Today to Investigate Mysterious Death of IAS Officer

Bengaluru/Lucknow: A special investigation team (SIT) will arrive Bengaluru today from Uttar Pradesh to investigate the mysterious death of Karnataka cadre IAS officer Anurag Tiwari (36) earlier this week in Lucknow. Anurag Tiwari was posted as commissioner at Karnataka state department of food, civil supplies and consumer affairs in Bengaluru. He was found dead under mysterious circumstances when he was on his visit to Lucknow earlier this week.
Meanwhile, speaking to the media persons on Thursday, Karnataka chief minister extended his support to the investigation team from Uttar Pradesh rejecting the reports that the deceased was murdered as he was to expose a big scam in his department by his superiors. Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath also assured Karnataka government and Tiwari’s family members that his government will move forward with all possible efforts to crack case to identify the reason for the mysterious death.
