SIT Questions Three Suspects in Gauri Lankesh Murder Case: Reports

Bengaluru: According to media reports, Special Investigation Team (SIT) which investigates murder case of social activist, writer Gauri Lankesh has taken three suspects into its custody and the trio is being questioned by the investigators at a secret location in Karnataka. The investigation team hasn’t released any information on the new breakthrough in the investigation as it could adversely impact the probe, the sources said.
The reports have also stated that the North Karnataka based three suspects have been kept in secret location and are being questioned by an investigation team led by SIT head BK Singh.
The three suspects have been taken into custody by Gadag police following a tip-off by the people after the release of sketches of the prime suspects who might have involved in the murder, reports said.
