Six-car Metro train will only operate on weekdays

Bangaluru: The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited(BMRCL) on Wednesday has decided that the new six-car Metro train will not run on weekends.

On weekdays, it will operate four end-to-end trips between Byappanahalli and Mysuru Road and two short loop trips between Byappanahalli and Vijayanagar. The new six-car train will also run four end-to-end trips between Byappanahalli and Mysuru Road between 5.30pm and 8.30pm. BMRCL officials said.

A statement from the BMRCL states, “This time table is dynamic and may undergo changes based on the demand and experience.”
