Sleaze CD case: Ramesh Jarkiholi meets Amit Shah, holds late-night discussion

Belagavi: Gokak MLA Ramesh Jarakiholi, who has been trying for a CBI probe of the sleaze CD case,  met Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday (February 2) night and had a long discussion.

Ramesh Jarakiholi held a consultation at Amit Shah’s Delhi residence at 10:30 pm on Thursday.

Ramesh Jarkiholispoke to ‘Udayavani’ and confirmed that he had met Amit Shah. Another Union Minister was also present during the visit.

It is gathered that Jarkiholi told Amit Shah about having evidence of KPCC president D K Shivakumar having more than 100 CDs and urged for a CBI probe to bring out the truth. Amit Shah is said to have responded positively to this request.

Ramesh Jarakiholi also held talks with some senior leaders. He had also met Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai and held discussions in Bengaluru.
