Amethi: Union Minister Smriti Irani will visit Amethi, the parliamentary constituency of Congress president Rahul Gandhi, on January 4, a BJP leader said Sunday.

The Union Textiles Minister will lay the foundation stone of a residential school in the district on her daylong visit, Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Amethi convenor Rajesh Agrahari said.

Amethi is represented in the Lok Sabha by Rahul Gandhi.
