Smriti Irani reviews progress of POSHAN Abhiyaan scheme in state

Bengaluru: Minister of Women and Child Development Smriti Irani on Friday met Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa to review progress of POSHAN Abhiyaan (Prime Minister’s Overarching Scheme for Holistic Nutrition) scheme in the state.
Launched in March 2018, the scheme aims to reduce level of under-nutrition and other related problems by ensuring convergence of various nutrition-related schemes.
The meeting was held at the Chief Minister’s Home Office, Krishna.
Shashikala Jolle Annasaheb, state minister of women and child development and other officials were present at the meeting.
