Social distancing: 80 prisoners in M’luru jail shifted to Chikmagalur, Karwar prisons

Mangaluru: In order to maintain social distancing amid coronavirus outbreak as many as 80 prisoners from Mangaluru jail were shifted to the prisons in Chikmagalur and Karwar.
Out of 80 prisoners, 40 were shifted to a prison in Karwar and the other 40 were shifted to the prison in Chikmagalur.
These prisoners were shifted in 2 KSRTC buses along with the police officers in change.
