Software engineer kills wife and father in rage

Tumakuru: Narayanaswamy (34), an engineer working in an organization in Bengaluru, has allegedly murdered his wife and his father at his home in Kanthaiahanapalya in Kunigal taluk of Tumakuru area. 

The police said that the victims have been identified as Sowmya (25) and Eranna (65). 

Narayanaswamy used to fight often with his wife, suspecting her character. On Wednesday, around 12.30 a.m., he got into a serious argument with her and in an attack of outrage, assaulted her with a sickle. He additionally assaulted his father, who endeavored to intrude to rescue his daughter- in-law.

The accused surrendered in Sira police headquarters for Tumakuru region on Wednesday.
