Someshwar: Man commits suicide by jumping into sea

Mangaluru: The body of a 46-year-old man, who allegedly committed suicide by jumping into the sea at Someshwar here on Wednesday, December 11 afternoon was recovered from near Alimakallu in the evening.
The deceased Uday Kumar (46), a resident of Padil Veeranagar, owned a shop selling construction materials in Padavinangady.
Reportedly he took off his belongings and left his two-wheeler by the shore before jumping into the water.
A local youth found his items and informed nearby shopkeepers, who then alerted the Ullal police. Life guards conducted a search operation and recovered the body.
Uday Kumar is survived by his parents, wife, and son.
